A short profile on Molly Kelly, an inspiring young powerlifter and feminist.
This film competed and won 3rd place out of almost 1,000 sports films in the 2016 NBC Sports CPTR'D Contest. NBC flew the top 5 finalists down to SXSW, where our films were screened on the NBC Sports lawn.
This piece was a project for Boston University that completely took on a life of its own after it was posted. It's by far my most popular film to date. I had the opportunity to take my time with this piece and I think that's why Molly was wiling to open up to me about her own experiences with body image and how powerlifting helped her through those issues.
